Relationships define our lives.  In business, family and love, our ability to relate to others determines our capacity for success or failure.

Relationships imply communication and the quality of our communication directly impacts the quality of our relationships. 

The ability to freely express ones desires, needs and feelings -- without fear, without shame, without guilt -- separates the successful individual from those who, uncertain and untrusting of themselves, fail to realize their dreams.

We're all actors

If the job of an actor is to truthfully represent a role, we're all actors, changing roles throughout the day, and acting out those roles to the best of our abilities.

A man wakes up in the morning to play the part of a husband and father, goes to work to play the manager or sales executive, has drinks in the evening in the role of a friend, and comes home in the evening to put on his role again as father, husband and even lover.

We change our behavior to suit our environment without thinking, as a learned reflex over which we exert no concious control.

By acknowledging this behavior, we give ourselves the opportunity to study the roles we play, and decide which ones empower and fulfill us, and discard those roles that keep us from achieving our goals.

Change the script for your life

The use of theatrical games for purposes besides acting has a long history, and rightfully so.  The same techniques that actors use to increase creativity, self esteem and personal charisma onstage can be just as effective for the non-actor in everyday or professional life.

The "Better Communication. Better Life." course creates a safe environment in which the individual may examine the roles they play in life, and invent new roles, while learning the technical skills of public speaking both in groups and in front of an audience.
