My passion lies in the creation of interesting, useful and beautiful things.  Software design allows me to pursue all three goals, as well as contribute to the open source community.

In my personal and professional life, I use and contribute exclusively to open source projects, and firmly support open licenses such as Creative Commons, GPL and others that allow derivative uses, and don't impede the growth of human understanding in science and culture.
